| The Alberta Association of Architects is a provincial
regulatory and advocacy body whose jurisdiction encompasses the Province
of Alberta. The Alberta Association of Architects is affiliated with
the Canada's other provincial associations, also charged with the
regulation of the Profession of Architecture in each of their own
provinces.
The
Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) is the national
voice of the profession of architecture in Canada. The Canadian
Architectural Certification Board (CACB) is a national organization
responsible for reviewing and certifying architectural education
and credentials; both Canadian and foreign. The Committee of
Architectural Canadian Councils (CCAC) is a collective group
of provincial representatives who formulate and establish national
architectural policy.
There are also many organizations related to the Profession of
Architecture who are valuable contacts within the construction industry.
