At this time, the Alberta Association of Architects (AAA) requires all licensed and registered members to complete the Architects Act, General Regulation and Bylaws Course. The AAA is currently developing a distance learning version of the Building Envelope course. Once complete this will be a mandatory course for all registered architects.
Architects Act, General Regulation and Bylaws Course
The previous mandatory course on the Architects Act, Regulations and Bylaws has undergone major revisions necessitated by the amendments to the Architects Act and the new General Regulations that came into effect on July 9, 2009. The updated mandatory course is now called the Architects Act, General Regulation and Bylaws Course.
