Mareko Gaoboe

Biography

Born and raised in Botswana, Mareko had the opportunity to study architecture at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies in 2007 and a Master of Architecture in 2011. Since then, he has worked at a few professional architectural firms in Alberta and became a Registered Architect in October 2019.

Mareko has had exposure and direct experience on design proposals, feasibility studies, new stand-alone buildings (commercial, residential, institutional), tenant improvements and renovations (education & healthcare) of various types and scales.

Mareko is currently a Project Architect at Croy D Yee Architect. He enjoys being involved in all aspects of practice from client meetings, conceptual designs to working drawings, contract administration and project management duties of small to medium sized projects.
